Burning waste isn’t new. But burning waste cleanly to generate usable fuels is. The future of gasification plants are capable of converting any carbon-containing feedstock such as biomass, coal, petroleum coke, or municipal solid waste into synthesis gas (Syngas), consisting primarily of hydrogen (H) and carbon monoxide (CO).

This Syngas is produced is a clean, dry, and flexabile fuel with many uses. It can be burned to create heat and energy. It can be used to produce transportation fuels like clean burning diesel. It also provides a supply of pure hydrogen gas for many applications.

The developers wished to also create a technology that can also combine waste eliminiation with Clean-Coal Technology (CCT) and is able to utilize any carbon-based material for the production of synthesis gas.
